It started in the classroom
After talking with hundreds of teachers, it was obvious that the frustration is real: exam platforms and school platforms don’t talk to each other. So teachers spend hours moving files between systems – something that should take a single click.
Three systems for one assignment
Until today, every teacher in Sweden has had to run their assignments and exams in one system and report back to students and parents in another. For a single written assignment, it often looks like this:
- Students write in an exam platform.
- The teacher exports the texts to Word or Google Docs to give feedback, because the text editors in exam platforms are clunky to work in.
- The teacher exports the files again and uploads them to the school platform, so that students and parents can see the feedback.
That gap costs teachers hours. It is also a big reason why parents so rarely see the feedback their children get – teachers simply don’t have time to copy all of it over to the school platform.
One platform, from assignment to home
